AJ Posted February 4, 2012 Report Share Posted February 4, 2012 since your tall you more than likely have a poor fitting gun that is throwing your aim off. you should find an armor that knows how to measure you for the correct size gun. Akula Posted February 5, 2012 Report Share Posted February 5, 2012 You want to get the shot off either while the clay is rising, or as it apexes. Falling clays are hard to shoot because your pattern flies over them and they fall away from it. That little tip will probably get one or two more. I usually shoot with my kids, I shoot cleanup. That's what the one guy at blackwing was saying. He told me to have the stock extended by a little over an inch, which would help. So they are currently doing that to my 20 gauge. I also picked up a new 12 gauge that I will probably need to do the same thing to. Both those guns have shims, but I wouldn't even begin to know which one if any I would want to use. lol Some of us should get together some day at blackwing, or wherever, and shoot.
