Up the shutter speed on those shots. Alot of them could be really sweet, but it's blurred :(

i did the best i could with the lighting conditions, also my camera was low on battery and it was freezing cold out :fuuuu: but come spring with more light and higher temps ill crank it to full speed, and get better shots.

That looks like an interesting building in the back ground.

its quite the building rumor has it that it was a school house in the early 1900's its by no means sound for that but now its a place where my buddy stores metal cans and extra metal around the yard to take in for scrap.

but on a side note the property and the house is where OSU quarterback art schlichter grew up.

Looks like he's got the rear sight removed and some super-high rings mounted on its dovetail. I see hex reciever, brass handguard ends, and a stock with no band grooves or toe splice?....TELL US MORE!

well its not mine but what i do know is its a 1943 year, and yes we removed the rear sight to expose the rails for the scope rings. but we have put the irons back on because my buddy likes them more.

Yea, I assumed you knew...but just my remarks. :dumb:

Were you wide-open and high ISO? Noise doesn't look bad at all.

The brass-capped handguard is an uncommon, pre-war part...they kinda got shuffled around during the post-war work done on the Soviet weaponry.

Did the rings hold well? I've been thinking of trying that setup with one of mine.
