zeitgeist57
I remember these being all the rage back in the '80s. Does anyone run these anymore? For $250, it's an expensive piece of kit... http://www.supertrapp.com/product_sections/cat.asp?CatID=
Richard Cranium
I remember them. But I haven't seen any in years.
Tim Davis
Had them on a few vehicles back in the '80's. Just found some of the plates for them in an old toolbox a few months ago, funny flashback. More of a novelty than performance in my opinion. It was cool to add or remove plates to change the sound. Crossle
Still a couple of them on some TR6's here at the shop. Dad had them on the ITB cars in the 90's. Still see a handful of them around. They sound FANTASTIC on the Triumph's though.
Rally Pat
They pop up here and there at autocrosses, I think I saw one on a Miata not too long ago.

craig71188
And just unscrew the cap pack for nice big open megaphones when you want them! They have lost some popularity when the all steel internally baffled mufflers came out. When the Supertrap's hit, most everything had some sort of "packing" in it that burnt out. While you can get Supertraps with packing, we ran the units that just used the caps and baffles in the end - no packing to burn out.
