POS VETT
I'm shopping to have TracKey installed on my Boss 302. Is there a Ford mechanic out there who has done it before ?
Crossle
Being a newer Mustang, the first people that come to my mind would be the guys over at Pickups Plus. They are a vendor here and have their own section further down the main forum. I would give them a call first.
POS VETT
I have met Brady in person and I have only good impressions about PPC. However, TracKey is a Ford item and the software is transferred by connecting the PCM to some Ford server which means it has to be installed by a Ford dealer. The TracKey purchase has to be handled by a Ford dealer as well.
Richard Cranium
Wow, do we not have any ford dealership guys on this board?

They then give a "key" that has to be entered in to the ids during programming. It would be hard for a dealer to mess up whether they have done one before or not.....I would give the Germain service department on sawmill a call on . They have done the clutch tsb on several of our Shelby customers vehicles and i have not heard a complaint from any of those customers. BradyPPC
Just drops it to a 3yr/36k mile warranty. I came to terms a long time ago that I cant have a car the way I want it with a powertrain warranty. Been much happier ever since!
