Narrowing down my search. These are about all i can afford, but from what I've read they're both good weapons. I cant decide which one to go with. Was thinking maybe CR could help a brother out. This will be a CCW, as i mentioned in my other thread. Both are 9MM.

TLDR; 11 rd double stack Vs 7 rd single stack

The P11 is a nice little pocket pistol. Meaning with a decent pocket holster you can carry it in your front pocket and it will look just like a wallet at most even wearing shorts in the summer. I had a P3AT which is the .380 version of the P11 and it was a great gun that shot good. I just hate the .380 round is the only reason for selling it. I'll have a P11 before spring hits.

I've carried a p11 for a few years (about 5 now?)

The trigger sucks, but it is like that because there is no safety and is meant to be carried with nothing more than a frame clip. You can learn to shoot it. It took me a while at 25 yards, but it is money <10 yards.

It has really tight tolerances, so you can't carry any heavy loads. 124 grain hydrashok is about the biggest that it will cycle reliably.

Otherwise I have had 0 issues with it. Some people like to put a grip extension on it. I think that defeats the purpose of the size of the gun. Learn to shoot it as is.

If you pick both of them up and try the triggers on both I'm sure your going to like the pf9 much better. It's also thinner and much easier to carry, not to mention that the plastic that it's made out of feels much better in my opinion. Most people say that it hurts their hand to shoot my PF9 but I don't really know what their talking about.

Any thin gun like that does. Its not a range gun past getting comfortable with it...it does a number between your thumb and pointer finger. I carry mine, if i ever need to use it, pain in my hand from a few shots would be last thing on my mind...going to put 100 holes in paper, different story.

I Pulled the trigger on a brand new PF-9 on friday. Shot it Saturday and was very pleased. Breakdown was super easy for cleaning.
