LeonbergerG
I have recently purchased an '86 Nissan D21 hard body. Looking to buy some rims for it but I don't know what to buy... truck is not lowered but maybe one day... just wondering if anyone knows how big I can go and still be able to drive every day. Any advice? Pics? Thanks
zeitgeist57
Six-lug? I've seen GMC/Chevy SUV wheels look good on a Hardbody...same bolt pattern as the Envoy/Trailblazer. Maybe SS rims?
LS_Sonoma
the 20" factory GM truck wheels would look smashing, I vote for SS Trailblazer wheels also if going OEM.

Here's a list of wheels that fit and some pics. http://www.mazdatrucking.com/B2200/Mazda_Pickup_Rims.html Six-lug? If it's six lug, it's the same as big chevy/ford/dodge. which is 6x5.5. envoy/tb is 6x5.
zeitgeist57
Just googled Hardbody and found ones with Pathfinder Armada/Infiniti QX56 wheels. Titties-n-beer.
LeonbergerG
There's some trailblazer ss wheels on Craig's... might have to scope them out... thanks for the response
LeonbergerG
Will they physically fit under though? Bone stock
iwashmycar
My FJ wheels are that pattern (all), as are my first gen XTerra wheels (01-04). It says the Isuzu Axiom wheels fit with no modifications (large centerbore). I know the FJ wheels also have a large centerbore but may stick out a little more...Toyotas also use shanked lugs... Apparently Colorado and H3 wheels also bolt right on w/o mods

And yes 20s should fit, but they will look absolutely dumb.

Chrome escalades or black Also i remember hearing the center bore of the nissan's are larger so the caddy wheels need milled out.

LeonbergerG
Definitely not the look I want. The tucked look is what I want but really don't want to cut it up yet.

How stupid will it look if I just ru 17's with out lowering it will most likely look better than the what are most likely factory 14s that are on there right now. iwashmycar
It sounds like there are some 17s where you do not have to cut, and can tuck. When I saw the H3 rims on one I think he had said no cutting....
