Draco-REX
Just his career? I think his life might be over...
dover
It states both pilots survived... but that is miraculous and I'd say he is probably in some shit.

SinisterSS
sucks bad for the pilot but at least they lived, I'd rather be known as the guy that crashed a AH-64 vs. a B-
Avenger1647545502
Well, the B-2 crash was a result of a mechanical malfunction...various sensors induced an uncommanded nose-up that couldn't be over-ridden by the pilot. The Apache crash was a result of simple stupidity.
mmrmnhrm
The Apache crash was a result of simple stupidity. Stupidity? Either the embedded description or one of the comments called it a maneuver called "Returning to target," in which case it's something you're trained to do, and have to practice. Practice doesn't always go to plan.....
LJ
My cousin was a helicopter crew chief and mechanic. He said the maneuver is taught and standard. What isn't standard is doing it for shits and gigs around that many people
Avenger1647545502
You also don't do it THAT close to the ground, let alone that close to the ground up in the thin air. He ignored flight minimums and safe practices to show off...and bit off his own ass.
Nate1647545505
You also don't do it THAT close to the ground, let alone that close to the ground up in the thin air. He ignored flight minimums and safe practices to show off...and bit off his own ass. Judging by the composure of the men on the ground, they didn't seem to be taking any fire or in an elevated state.....really dont think that's the time or place to do something like that... Good to see they survived, hopefullly that knocked most of the stupid out of them.... /aviators
