wnaplay1647545503
Did you dampen and lay over a bucket? Bends real nice and easy after that and surprising in a real short time span. Work looks real good.

Work looks real good. I wish i would have thought of that, I used 3/8" plywood, then glued and screwed and trimmed off the edges.
Twistedrx7
finally figured out a layout for the master bath. going from this http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/Bathroom.jpg to this: the triangle for the soaking tub is for a step up either into the shower or tub. trying to figure out if i want to keep the existing 60 x 60 tub or switch to a single and do 60 x 42 for a to person side by side and allow more room into the shower. Its an open concept shower. (if you have ever been the The Tile Shop it would be like the 9 foot long shower in the back left) http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/Bathroom002-1.jpg What im looking to sort of replicate with the shower just a little bit different. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/Mobile%20Uploads/0507021450.jpg Edited May 9, 2012 by Twistedrx7
Sully
I wish i would have thought of that, I used 3/8" plywood, then glued and screwed and trimmed off the edges. At first, I was going to ask how you got the wood to bend like that, then I realized that if you got it from HD or Lowe's, it was like that when you bought it. :lolguy:

Twistedrx7
Made some more purchases. Doors have Arrived from Bairds Brothers. I would recommend them to anyone, i have not had customer service like that in a long time. Driver was friendly, didnt complain, and didnt act like i was another number. Also the Great Indoors is having a going out of business sale. I picked up the following: Blanco - granite sink Faucets for downstairs and upstairs bathroom and 2 faucets for the master. Faucets for the laundry room and Kitchen. Tile for the customer shower going in. All for under 1,000 + not including the doors. Baseboards and doors will be hung soon then stained. Carpet is next, other misc flooring and counter tops and call it done.

Baseboard and casing installed throughout entire house Solid oak doors installed - whole house Tile done properly in the upstairs bathroom. work was redone due to poor install the first time. Just need countertops, finish the island, carpet, and to finish the master bathroom. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/house/543548_641045932199_1874381713_n.jpg Start of the flooring http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/house/578938_652715411469_1211341925_n.jpg all down. I came up 9 planks (2 boxes) short in the dining room and trying to find this stuff is hard. Its wilsonart Bentwood Oak. If anyone can help it would be appreciated. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/house/557253_652983294629_601743507_n.jpg
coltboostin
Looks good. Makes me feel even more lucky to find a "turn key" foreclosed new construction home. Is this your profession?
Twistedrx7
Looks good. Makes me feel even more lucky to find a "turn key" foreclosed new construction home. Is this your profession? That is pretty lucky indeed. We could have replaced the carpet and called it good but i never like "Stock". My profession is in banking, however i pick up quickly and never overlook the fine details. Nothing worse than having a 3k floor that is cut sloppy or needs pulled up 5 months later.

smokin5s
from the looks of your house, I think I should have gone into banking instead of IT!
Twistedrx7
Almost finished with the lighting. Ran into a snag with the light above the fridge. Other then that i need to do the 2 general "room" lights and the under cabinet lighting. These are the pendant lights i picked up for 21 bucks each! http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/kitchenlights4_zpsf2badc49.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/kitchenlights1_zps52f793dd.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/kitchenlights3_zpsd706dc98.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/kitchenlights2_zps5db1d72b.jpg
