All,

After a long and exhaustive search for someone to help me fix the bushings for less than shop prices; I have decided to give up on a great car.

I have a 1996 Mitsubishi GSX A/T with 130,500 miles on it. Below details listed...

The Bad

Salvage title but car fax and previous owner's certified inspection shows car checks out safe and within specs.

Car deperately needs bushings all around. Car is out of alignment and has worn tires drastically. I do not have the tools, space, resources, or ability to do this myself.

Car needs tires due to being out of alignment.

Needs drivers side door handle

Needs rear O2 sensor (CEL is on because of this)

Headliner of car droops severely and needs re-glued (material is fairly new just wasn't glued properly).

Tiny oil leak around turbo return. Just needs gasket.

Trans shifts hard into reverse. Remaining gears shift smooth and firm. Likely just needs trans fluid and filter change.

The good:

2ga to 2gb conversion done. Fairly new paint all around (except mirrors would could use a refresh).

14b turbo added, has normal shaft play.

18 inch wheels (need cleaned)

Tokico shocks

2.5 exhaust (custom) that sounds great.

Incredibly clean motor that runs great (one belt does squeek some when it rains.

New battery. Car starts and runs fantastic.

Triple gauge A pillar pod with two crappy gauges.

This really is a great car if someone had a weekend and the tools/ability to fix the small things. It would not take much for this to be a great daily driver, which was my original intent.

I will include the following with the sale: brand new energy suspension bushing kit ($135 value), 4 new subframe matching aftermarket bushings ($150 value), New rear 02 sensor ($100 value), and drivers door handle paint matched.

Price is $2,000 OBO... Pics available upon request or you can visit my post on Columbus DSM

Thanks,

Pavo

All... I wanted to answer a few questions that came up publicly as I thought they would be good info for all.

There is no visible rust (I will double check when I get home tonight so I'm not lying) rust on the strut towers. Those look in great shape.

I was told when I got the car that the timing belt/water pump was just changed; however I cannot say for sure if that is true because the previous owner could not produce a receipt for the parts or work. I was going to have them changed after getting the bushings fixed just to be safe.

Feel free to PM me if you want a phone # to talk with me. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks!

Pavo
