BBQdDude
On carbon buildup couldn't you use seafoam on the intake hose?
CRed05
On carbon buildup couldn't you use seafoam on the intake hose? I've never used seafoam, but I've used other intake cleaners that you hook up to a vacuum line and I don't see why not. Usually works great, but I've never used it on a DI car. BG also has this: http://www.bgprod.com/news/GDI.html EDIT: then there's this, i guess seafoam doesn't work http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/344952-Redline-Speed-Worx-Cylinder-Head-Carbon-Build-Up-Sea-Foam-Service-Limitations
BBQdDude
Ahhhh, wonder if that is the same on other cars.

rl
I seafoam my wifes every 3k and it stays squeeky clean (I peak at the open valves with a borescope every once and a while). When we first got it, it misfired it was plugged so bad. I just made a simple hose with a valve and a aerator and let it suck into the intake. rl
I'll get one, its simple. Just a valve and then a plastic T with a valve on the open end of the T so I can control how much air is brought in with the cleaner to help it atomize.
