I also know of a few who are just asses and will tell you to come back when you know what you want. I should give them a little more credit, they were crazy busy when i was there but there was a younger guy that was cool, let me handle a SCAR and another rifle even though i was there to buy a handgun and didn't have any intention of purchasing them.
