OSUGT
Sure they will. Guy across the street bought a 2012 for 3k below sticker, and that was before they annonced the huge jump in HP for the 2013's Gotta somewhat agree with this. I dont see a '13 available at invoice any time soon, but since there are dealers still stuck with '11s and '12s, look for the deal on those. 2highpsi
I will be in Columbus at the end of may. Have one of these in stock and ready to sell me at invoice minus rebates. See you then :gabe: I'll hook ya up! Guess I'm in the 5% Sure they will. Guy across the street bought a 2012 for 3k below sticker, and that was before they annonced the huge jump in HP for the 2013's Yeh, I know some guys actually track them but you know what I meant. 2013 and 2012 are two different worlds. I sold our last 2012 (brand new) that had a $57,000 MSRP for $48,
Trouble Maker
The bigger news is that it will be able to hit 200mph out of the box. It's probably the cheapest price point, in relatively dollars and maybe even real dollars, that's every happened. To give everyone a comparision the first production car to do that was the Ferarri F40. "The car debuted with a factory suggested retail price of approximately US$400,000, although some buyers were reported to have paid as much as US$1.6 million." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_F40 $400k in 1987 money is something like $700k in todays money. That's 13 times as much as this car. Maybe even the cheapest 200mph car ever, including into the future? http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2012/04/2013-shelby-gt500-662-horsepower-200-mph-why/ Edited May 1, 2012 by Trouble Maker

That I did not know, but my overall point still stands even if that car cost 60k
2highpsi
That I did not know, but my overall point still stands even if that car cost 60k $57,990 would be MSRP on that configuration. As you said, still a great value
Nate1647545505
Is the new chassis pretty stable at high speeds? That's alot of power, even for a decent chassis. Inb4someonepostslinktomotortrendm3battle
scoots
Hopefully this means we will soon have a 'ring time for the GT500. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqx0YzQEATI&feature=youtu.be

Inb4someonepostslinktomotortrendm3battle The GT500 is the most stable car I've ever driven at high speeds. Bet it feels fine at 200.

Hopefully some 'side-by-sides' :fuckyeah: Edited May 8, 2012 by 2011SVT
