Hear about you guys a good bit. So i figured I would join and see what the talk was all about.

 

A couple cars I have are 02 Wrx wagon, 00 silverado, 01 cavalier. I have some plans for all of them but like most lack of case is holding me back.

Interested in plans for cavalier.

ok since the cavalier was requested i will start with it first.

 

cavalier.

 

the plans for the cavalier are,

complete custom air ride setup,

digital setup with self adjustment setup,

alero irs already installed,

moddified wrx coilover suspension for back up to the air ride,

has 2.2 eco,

manual trans,

colbalt supercharger setup w/ 3.1 pulley,

have a 2.7 pulley and bigger injectors for later down the road,

factory sunroof out of coupe(sedan never came with one.

there are other things i just cant think of now. this build will be more complex than most others but will still appear factory and lay on the ground. even on the inside it will sport mostly factory parts with carbon fiber accent and painted peice hear or there. here are a couple pics of before the major changes that are taking place.

next is my silverado.

 

it has a 5.3 and 4l80, lowered 5/7 if i'm not mistaken, set of 20's

 

later plan

 

air ride with towing capabilities and work to increased gas milage, nothing to crazy planned for this.

and finally the 02 wrx wagon.

 

it has a gutted up pipe, tbe, aftermarket 18's, megan lowering springs

 

plans are full coilovers, sti turbo and intercooler, and tune. nothing major since this is my dd.

You have a 4L80E in your 5.3 Silverado? How much was that swap?

About 800 for the transmission, you cut the mount and weld it back together with 4" farther back, rewire the plug any add the second sensor, use the 6.0 flywheel and spacer(can use the 5.3 starter), orielly's carries the bastard joint for the extended cabs to keep the same drive shaft, and have HP tuners merge the 4l80 transmission to 5.3 engine tune. Not really that hard. I think I had just over a grand in it all. I had bought hp tuners for the cavalier so only thing was the usage of the credits.
