SRTurbo04 Posted May 20, 2012 Report Share Posted May 20, 2012 At alum creek today there is the watercraft rangers and they have a course conned off with a truck and trailer looks like they are there to help teach boaters to back there stuff up. Figure might help some of you. Not sure how long today. This is at the main marina at alum creek. Also there are rangers there stopping every boat in the launcharea to make sure there legal. Also weather your new or old please dear god prep your boat to be put in the water in the parkinglot.. not the lanes. You are holding up peoples valuable time!! Don't be that asshole! One last thing to the people who haven't been to the main marina launch at alum creek. They re did the whole ara. Expanded the ramps so now its truly a 4 boat launch. As well as added another doc to doc the boat at. As well as they added a actual lane to drive threw to get in line to launch(hence why I'm asking to be ready to launch!) We were there Saturday making sure everything ran correctly. The new ramp is nice. Was choppy as fuck though. These 2 guys held up the ramp though. Everytime the guy in the truck would start turning just a little bit, the guy in the boat would start yelling at him, causing the guy in the truck to turn even harder going across multiple lanes. Friend's parents have a $1 million house and property near Herron Bay. They have a big ass boat house that they don't use that they rented to us for $600 for the summer. We also have use of their one sundeck and their bonfire area. The best thing is that it is super private down their channel. People think that the buoys mark the channel, but they actually mark a sandbar, so to many, the channel is considered a giant hazard.
