I was happy to see a non-flatbilled hat douchebro win, though. I would enjoy the sport more if they made it more of a sport. Three 45 second laps is not enough time to really do anything, and it's pretty obvious that the winner is typically whoever survives turn one and doesn't screw up later on. Just like racing any video game online. Dumb, dumb, dumb. I'd have more respect if they, at least in current form, staged the starts and made it a flat time trial instead of 8 oversteer-prone cars piling into a turn wide enough for one and a half.
