Not Brian
http://abc6onyourside.com/shared/newsroom/top_stories/videos/wsyx_vid_18159.shtml According to this, cops tried pulling them over for a busted headlight, the driver stopped the stolen truck and ran into the woods.. cops chased. There was a passenger in the truck who then slid over behind the wheel and drove away. The windows were tinted so cops didn't even know there was a passenger. TurboNova
Does not say cpd, I'm sure it was not them. And plate number means nothing the car may register to a 60 year old female and the driver could of been a 19 year old dude

Supplicium
hiding in the truck is almost a better story. i couldnt imagine hiding there then having the chance to get out of there unseen. running and getting away is kinda cool too beating the odds n all. Wait, according to the story on 10TV, they left and came back to no car. If they didn't originally see a passenger in the car, and the car wasn't there when they came back, how do they even know there was ever a passenger in the car? 99FLHRCI
Wait, according to the story on 10TV, they left and came back to no car. If they didn't originally see a passenger in the car, and the car wasn't there when they came back, how do they even know there was ever a passenger in the car? It is 2 different stories. One is a truck that got pulled over for a headlight out @ 270 and Hamilton then stopped near Sunbury road. The other was a vehicle clocked at 90 mph on 270 south of 161. 99FLHRCI
You should probably read the articles before posting (it's the same truck) image-police-chase GAHANNA, Ohio - Police were searching through wooded areas for a man who fled a traffic stop early Monday morning. Investigators said that they attempted to stop the driver when he was clocked driving in excess of 90 mph along Interstate 270 north, just south of state Route 161, at about 3 a.m. The driver refused to stop for police, but eventually stopped the vehicle and ran into a wooded area, 10TV’s Tino Ramos reported. Police said that they chased the man into the woods and when they returned to check on his vehicle, it had disappeared. Investigators were working to track down any information about the driver. A description of the driver was not immediately available. Watch 10TV News and refresh 10TV.com for more information. COLUMBUS -- Police are trying to find two suspects and a stolen truck after a high-speed chase early Monday morning. An officer attempted to pull the pickup over for a headlight violation on I-270 NB near Hamilton Road, but the driver refused to stop, touching off a chase that lasted seven miles and reached 90 mph. After coming to a stop near the Sunbury Road exit, the driver of the truck allegedly fled the scene on foot, eventually disappearing into a nearby wooded area. While officers searched for the driver, a previously undetected passenger drove away from the scene in the truck. Police say they were unaware of that passenger's presence because of the vehicle's tinted windows. The truck is described as a green 1997 GMC with Ohio license plate #EQK-8708. Columbus Police say the vehicle was reported stolen in Blacklick. Anyone with any information regarding the suspects/stolen truck is encouraged to contact the Columbus Division of Police. I did read both articles, hence how I got the details of the traffic violation and locations. Please show me, other then the fact that they both happened Monday morning and a suspect got away what shows it is the same story?
Not Brian
The first article says they clocked him on 270 near 161. Doesn't say where exactly he stopped, but they show a picture of the scene with the Sunbury Rd exit next to it. http://www.10tv.com/content/graphics/2012/06/25/image-police-chase.png
