gbracing81
I have a 99 Trans Am that's lowered and also I have 2 sets of C5he wagon wheels. One set has tires and the others don't. My question is this, does anyone know if I would be able to run the 18" wheels on the front with a 275 tire? I know I could just try the rears that I.have but I figured someone here had already done this or knows someone who has I could save some time. MrMeanGreen
I ran C6 18" up front with 275s and required a small spacer. Otherwise, full lock caused the tire to rub inside the wheel well.

Also, were your running 275-40-18's? I wonder if a 275-35-18 would be better?
MrMeanGreen
Yes, 275/40/18s. The rubbing was enough to hear during full lock, but my car also isn't lowered.
gbracing81
Sounds like I need to just swap the wheels and see how it goes. Thank you Anthony.
MrMeanGreen
No prob, that's how I found out I needed spacers
Chadz89GTA
With the car being lowered they will rub like a mother. I had Zenn springs and 18 inch Falken Koblens but they were 18x8, when I tried the wagon wheels off my friends car it was rub city.
2 Sweet
I ran 275/35/18's all around on my lowered Z28 and never had rubbing issues
