Lots of incidents on the switchbacks, we saw three wrecks on our trip up, two more on the way back down. Usually it's brake fade related, but lots of them simply spin off. Usually it's brake fade related, but lots of them simply spin off. when i was their a new recruit ranger rolled a truck down an embankment into some trees... and on our way back down we lost all brakes... man talk about butt puckering!!!! and i was their while they were doing the road... the dump truck drivers are crazy!! they use the crap out of the brakes, they were glowing and smoking!!! kinda scary to know people are that stupid...
