Ok, so here's the deal. It's been almost 3 months since the accident, The other guy's insurance company finally agreed to handle my claim. I've gotten the property damage check, but I have yet to agree upon a medical settlement. I've been having back and neck issues since the crash, I'd like to go see a chiropractor, and now I can so I'm looking for recommendations, I don't want to just start pulling numbers out of the phonebook. Anyone have any insight of who to see, who to stay away from, etc. I live and work in north columbus just east of clintonville, so I'd like to find something somewhat local. Thanks in advance.

TL;DR I need a good Chiropractor

my mom works for Dr. Ron Farabaugh on 161. he's held a few positions for some state wide chiropractor organizations or something. i went a while back with my accident, but saw the other doc that was there at the time, who also did good work

went to a chiropractor for the first time due to some nagging sore spots when i twist my neck. Went to Dr. Alexander he is up in clintonville and did a free consult with an xray and then went over stuff real well. Did an adjustment on the next visit, I was out of his office within 30 min and felt awesome.

I used to do some work for Dr. Douglas Byers. Great guy, my wife's family all go to him.

Dr. Douglas P. Byers, DC

615 Copeland Mill Rd

Suite 1C

Westerville, OH 43081

(614) 797-9355

Also yes chiropractors are not real doctors. If your primary care physician is a DO. Then they can do manipulation, just as a chiropractor would. So if possible see a DO!

Dr. Rick

beat me to it.

some chiro's are good, some are not. feel free to see one recommended here, and if it doesn't work you can always get referred to a back specialist. sometimes chiropracters can be a good 'filter' for back surgeons/specialists---those with bullshit problems get filtered out---those with bad problems who need surgery/injections get to the doctor because the chiropracter is not able to give them relief

back pain is the absolute number one complaint to dr's. over 95% percent of back issues resolve within a couple weeks with some stretching and a short course of anti-inflammatories

Dr Jack Kohl is a personal friend of mine and someone I would trust with my own joints, or my family's..

He is based out of Reynoldsburg.

I personally would not recommend this guy. I went to him about 4 or 5 years ago and he cracked 2 of my ribs while attempting to adjust my back. Then his office had the nerve to try and bill me for $30.00 from the visit after I told them what he did.
