Hi Everyone,

My Name is Jeff and I have a 1997 Mustang Gt Convertible:

Vortech V-1 Supercharger, 70 mm throttle body, Steeda Suspension, chassis braces, short shifter and wheels, Roll Bar, Cross Drilled Rotors, Anderson power pipe, 60 lb fuel injectors, 340 fuel pump. Custom tuned and chipped with a switch to run on e85 or 93 octane. High flow cats, x pipe and exhaust. Cobra front and rear bumpers and hood.

It is not fast yet. I have been working with Dyno Brian to make it less of a dog. Hopefully these pics will show up.

About myself:

I live in Grandview and own a couple of small businesses. One of them sells BBK and Vortech performance parts as well as higher end diecast car models. I am not here to spam anyone with ads. I am interested getting involved with the Columbus racing scene. I have done a little autocross racing at midohio. I took their beginning high performance driving course and won the autocross so I am going back for the second course soon since I won a free course with the win. I am also interested in Drag racing but have never tried. I finally have some time and a little money to get into racing. Is anyone going to the ford races at national trial raceway this weekend? I look forward to participating in the group if I am allowed.

Thanks! Yes I need to have him show me how to drive this thing. Its my first supercharged car and my first 4.6L I have had 5 or 6 different 5.0L and miss the low end grunt. This thing does not wake up until after 4,000 rpms.

I found it down in Florida on ebay. It was a good price so I took a chance on it. I have always liked the body style. I flew down there and drove it back 1350 miles. I did not know much about the 4.6L and only learned after the fact what a dog the 96-98 4.6L is with the non PI intake and heads. I have had 5-6 mustangs and always seem to go back to them if I get something else. Mainly because they generally give a lot of bang from the buck. Most of the modifications were done to it before I bought it. I think it may have been part of steeda at one point because it was located near their place in Florida. Dyno Brian helped me get it back in tune and we added the injectors, fuel pump, power pipe and a smaller pulley and the switch for e85. It is only running 7lbs of boost so we are going to try to increase that.
