42" Hitachi Plasma TV

C-Mart

Recommended Posts

Up for sale is a 42" Hitchi Plasma TV.

I have had this TV for ~3-4 years and ever since I have owned it, it has had some slight pixel distortion (may not be the correct term).

I can honestly say it has not gotten any worse over the years, but I wanted to be up front with the condition.

The problem arrises when it sits on one color for too long, but when you are watching TV/a movie it rarely happens.

This TV does not have a built in TV tuner or speakers so you will need a cable box and some speakers. It has a receiver built in to wire speakers out of.

No HDMI inputs, just component.

This would be a great TV for a rec room or garage.

Taking all this into consideration I think $100 is a fair price - PM if interested.

does it have an input jack to hook the speakers up?

why would you plug speakers into an input jack?

It has a receiver built in to wire speakers out of.

but yeah it looks like you can plug speakers directly into it.

ot but C-mart I'm shooting for that same wall/trim/floor color combo, looks great.

You can plug the speaker inputs into the TV and run speakers out TV, or run them to a receiver and go off that.

This does say 480P, but I could have sworn it was 720P. Regardless the picture is surprisingly good IMHO.

does this have a wall mount or a stand?

I had a wall mount for it, but I think I may have left it in Denver.

Ill check my storage unit tomorrow, but I really don't think it is there.

I always just leaned it on a TV stand. Worked well.

Got a picture of it in action, or can I check it out soon?

I guess I could take a video of it running from my old xbox.

If you want to bring over some component cables I can hook it up to my cable box and you can see what you think.

Picked up some cables from Time Warner today and plugged it in.

Started right up and worked better than I remember.

Like the ad states, some slight pixel disruption, but a great deal for $100.

Sick of dealing with Craigslist morons. If it doesn't sell I will happily keep it until I move and have somewhere to put it.

Nobody?

I'll keep this around until mid week, after that it is going into storage.

Like I said above I have it all hooked up so if anyone wants to come check it out let me know.

If anyone wants an underneath picture of the connections I'll snap a few.

I talked to my buddy, he wants one with a tuner on it. Sorry man, 100 bucks is a good deal on a tv

I appreciate it thanks. Apparently nobody else thinks so? Looks like it is going to storage until I have a garage.
