Geeesammy
Looking around quite a bit on here, trying to find when some decent meets are occuring on a somewhat regular basis. I've heard of the Sawmill meet on Saturdays, but beyond that is there any others around here worth going to?

I've heard of the Sawmill meet on Saturdays, but beyond that is there any others around here worth going to? There is cars and coffee on saturday mornings. There will also be random stuff posted up every now and again when people find out about it.
Geeesammy
I've heard of that as well. Is it usually every Saturday morning? A few friends I know up here said they've gone a couple times and it's usually a good turn out with some not so ricey things out there, to put it nicely lol. wagner
This looks like a meet where my peon of a Supra will be parked a few blocks away...hahah Why? Nobody gives a fuck there. We all just show up with are cars and have a good time, not like the other cars and coffee where they do a credit check, background check, and have velvet ropes... ForeverMaker
Definitely no elitism there, unlike the "other" c&c.
Geeesammy
Well that's great to know. I'm sure I won't be the worst there...there's always gonna be that 17 year old with the rusted Honda hatch and no exhaust.. Oh, and Forevermaker, check your PM's in a few minutes, uploading some pics of some leather seats to see what you could do with them..saw your winterization post. Yup, Every type of car imaginable shows up. The only people criticized are those who show up booming the stereo like it's Home Depot. :lolguy:

I'm assuming that's a reference to the Sawmill meet :lolguy:
gbracing81
Definitely no elitism there, unlike the "other" c&c. However, if you push your car there and don't have a viable excuse why it won't start we will make fun of you.

Doc1647545523
Once it gets too cold for the outside meets, there will be meets at the Hangout on most Friday and Saturday nights. Besides the projects in the garage, there's Forza 4 races, foosball, air hockey, sometimes movies. The girlfriends go into the office to knit and leave the bench racers in the main room. Everyone's welcome. Here's a thread from last fall with the basic info and directions: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=97107&highlight=hangout

I'll have to swing by some time and check it out. Only about 10-15 minutes from where I'm at too!
Draco-REX
Show up to C&C and just hang out. Doesn't amtter what you show up in. Hell I drove a rusted out '91 ambulance one week. And next year I'll probably show up on a scooter now and then. The hangout is cool, I just started showing up to it at the end of last winter, I hope to show up there more this winter.
