TTQ B4U Posted October 6, 2012 Report Share Posted October 6, 2012 Anyone know why this error would be popping up on my Win 7 64bit machine? Didn't do anything different. Tried a re-boot but it still popped up right after the machine woke up after it went to sleep. May try rebooting my modem, router and then computer, etc.... unfunnyryan Posted October 8, 2012 Report Share Posted October 8, 2012 Did this and have been fine since. Not sure WTF it was about. My guess was that a program that runs on boot (maybe antivirus?) was trying to update its own DNS entry (and failing) or trying to contact a server, but the servers address changed.
