turbospec29
I have an alternator that I want to have rebuilt and maybe upgraded if possible. Does anyone on here do this or know any good local places?
zeitgeist57
I had a starter rebuilt at Hite Parts a few years back on McKinley. Good job at a great price. There's a tiny shop on Town St. In Franklinton, near Mt. Carmel...sign says "alternators rebuilt". Lee's, I think...

Buckeye1647545503
Back when I ran my shop I had Jim's Auto electric do some work and was always pleased. Not sure if they are still around but they were cheaper than Hites at that time. https://plus.google.com/105584406688640334176/about?gl=us&hl=en

turbospec29
Thanks everyone. I'll be giving some of these places a call today.
gbracing81
Thanks everyone. I'll be giving some of these places a call today. If you're not calling Jim's, you're wasting your time. What ever you have they may already have one one the shelf for you. Plus if you want it built better than original (higher amp output or higher voltage or different pully...) they can hook that up also.
