hpfiend
Hey all- Do you run a Flexplate/Torque converter bottom dust shield on your cars/trucks? Mine is chrome and has slotted holes and I must have bumped it when I changed the oil filter as it was making contact with the flexplate and making a terrible sound. I removed it and asked the guy at Jegs if they make a specialized one without slotted holes so that it would be held in position better. He said noone runs them as they aren't necessary and only lock in heat. Is this accurate? Thanks! Andrew
Cordell
I might not run one on a race car, but something tells me that the track wouldn't like that. If it's a street car or truck I'd keep it there so nothing can get caught up in there.
