Medical Folks (M.D. type), need employment ideas

Hi Folks,

 

Family friend has been working in Pediatric medicine for 30 some years and got notice the department is cutting 50% of the budget, with that, 50% of the docs.

 

I've tried forwarding him a few positions off USAJOBS.meerica, is there a medical specific job site I can link him to? Any tips for an old doc?

maybe open his own clinic in an area that needs one. there's government grants out there for people willing to do it.

Without getting to personal, he would like to keep health benefits for his wife until she reaches the age where she can qualify for SS benefits. That means keeping the nose to the grindstone for another 2-3 years.
