So apparently a water main was leaking and to access get to it was in my front yard (between the sidewalk and street. City came out and fixed it but have left a 2 foot deep hole that goes from the street to the sidewalk and about 8 feet long. So instead of filling the hole back up with the dirt they removed they took it away. There is now orange snow fencing around the hole but I am coming up on 2 weeks and on one has been back to fill it. I need this finished up, anyone know what number to call to get someone out here to finish what was started?

it's crazy the way the city works. There fixed 3 different areas withing our neighborhood last year and I remember they took over a month to get that same orange webbing style fence removed and the concrete poured / holds filled.

They may be leaving it open to keep an eye on the repair. Depending on what exactly was done the old section of pipe that remains could have signs of wear not visible to the eye.

Call the water dept back and get some anwsers. But you don't own that area anyway, Sidewalk to street is city. Your just nice enough to mow it for them, so they will take theyre time.
