Forrest Gump 9
http://www.vanceoutdoors.com/products2.cfm/ID/114619/name/sig-sauer-m400-5.56-enhanced-carbine How's this Sig-sauer compare to an Ar15? I've always thought the sig is better, but this one is new to me.
Furloaf
Isn't that just a Sig-Sauer AR15?
M0nk3y
Isn't that just a Sig-Sauer AR15? Indeed. As well, trying to compare a certain manufacture to an AR-15 is impossible
Hahn
Seems like a steal. Dont know much about Sigs but my buddy swears by there hand guns. Dont know/havnt heard anything about the rifles though. Dont think you could realy go wrong with it.

Mojoe
how does an ar-15 compare to an ar-15? An AR-15 is simply an AR-15, but modified to fire AR-15 ammo. You have to change out the Upper from and AR-15, with the Upper from another AR-15, to be able to do this. Once you've swapped the parts, you now have an AR-15. It's pretty simple really. So pretty much an ar-15 is just an ar-15, attached to an ar-15 with other ar-15 parts? These "other" ar-15 parts are just as compatible with an ar-15? :gabe:

Forrest Gump 9
Sorry, I though the Sig was piston and AR is gas. But this particular Sig looks like it is gas operate unit.
Furloaf
Thinking of a 550 series? My first thought when I held one was "heavy" and not much else came to mind after.
HotCarl
I have that same exact model only in black Magpul furniture. Its a pretty standard AR. That sale price is good though.

Mojoe
I actually like that with the tan, because I don't have one like it yet. And the price is decent. I would point someone to this as a good AR without getting into specs. The AR style weapon is the Mr. Potato head of guns. Mag's and other accessories should all work out, providing there is a rail and room.
