Gun Belts

For what it is worth if anyone here needs a very versatile belt I suggest the Wilderness Instructor Belt. This belt is all nylon and extremely well made. It is strong and it does not loosen up while wearing it. Easy to adjust also. I bought the 1.5" 5 stitch with velcro. I have a few leather gun belts but this one is going to get used much more. I wear it now almost everyday when carrying or not. Just thought I would throw this out there for anyone deciding on a quality belt. Not many products I like to brag about or recommend but this one is.

IMO belts like that aren't made to hold the weight from a gun.

YMMV, but I wear a dedicated gun belt made from thick leather.

I have the thick leather belts also. This one is just more comfortable and you can tighten down to what ever your needs are. I have a jerry bissle gun belt that is really thick and heavy duty. For outside carry it gets used depending on what gun and holster set up is worn. I have an outside kydex holster coming for a glock 19 and I am confident that the nylon belt will do the job. Will know soon.

i posted a while back about looking for a GOOD leather belt, something that would last a LONG time and be heavy enough for a gun, while still being something i can wear daily.

well, i found a guy on ebay, makes GREAT leather belts, i think i paid ~$40 with shipping for them. i got the 1 3/4", which fits the clips on my comptac holster exactly. i've bought 2, i have a black and brown one. bought the brown one first, and its broken in, and the black one i've had a couple months, still working on it. i wear one or the other daily. no other belts besides these.

i fully expect these belts to last me at least 15-20 years. the quality of them is amazing, and for $40? hell yeah

I've worn the same Wilderness belt for approx 9 years now. Everday.

Went with the the version that has the plastic strip inside for additional support while shooting and moving when I did IPSC stuff years ago.

Nice thing about them is the buckle can be used on another belt should your sizing needs change or the belt itself become damaged. This saves you a fair amount of money vs buying a complete belt again.

Your leather belts 1.5" or 1 3/4. I might pick one of these up if they have it in 1.5" I always wanted a double prong belt.

He sells both. Mine are both 1 3/4. I wont wear anything except double prong (unless its a dress belt for the day). Single prong seem to stretch out the holes and not be very sturdy, in my opinion.

Just search ebay for 1 1/2 double prong belt, or go to that link and check out his other items. I honestly cant say how impressed i was with it and the price. i had been searching for months and found similar belts, but at $120+.
