94 C1500, with big hole

Okay many of you know this truck, I bought it from SPL Josh over the summer. It has just been sitting in my driveway not getting driven. After I bought it I took the box out (what a huge PITA), replaced the motor mounts (they were gone), fixed the tailgate, made everything lockable again (you could get right in the back), put new tires on it, got some new keys, put new front brakes on it, fixed a pretty major coolant leak, replace the missing cat-back exhaust, and drove it a bit while I was working on the Miata. It doesn't leak anything and drives out fine. Those of you who will search will find out I paid $500 for it. I am taking no less then $800, if it didn't have this big hole cut out of it it would be a $1500-2000 truck easy. I repeat that I am very firm on price. When I decide to put it on Craigslist I'll ask more. I would rather have an S10 so this needs to go. Would make a great winter beater.

Can you get pics of said hole? 2wd?

Sure I'll post pics, but in the meantime just imagine the back window to bed floor missing and sealed up, completely open. It doesn't leak though, I will give it to Josh that he did a good job sealing it up.

Yes 2WD, 4.3, work truck trim with vynil floor.

You should post it FS on a car audio forum.

Would have sold quicker on a audio board with the wall.

And I can attest to the trucks dependability, it was my daily for about two years, always started and never left me stranded. Made several 2+ hour long trips as well.

+1 for Cordell good guy

I was wondering what you meant by big hole. Now I see. I sold my truck and am now looking for a trailer, but for the kind of $ you are asking, this may be worth it for hauling shit every once in a great while. But I still have to consider the maintenance cost of owning a vehicle that I might drive once a month, if less. I need to think about this and weigh my options. I may be hitting you up soon for more details.

working ac?

Yes, but the compressor clutch does have a minor rattle to it from time to time, not a big deal.

Miles?

Trans?

Does it have a hitch? Tow packege?

Can't remember, 150k or so? I'll look, can't beleive I didn't think about that.

Auto trans.

Has a hitch on it, works fine used it to pull my Dad's trailer a couple times.

Whomever buys this be careful with Carbon Monoxide poisoning. I remember seeing like 2 stories of people dying because they were hauled in the bed of a truck with a cap. Get an exhaust leak or something, doesn't take much.

Sorry to crap in your thread.
