10phone2
My neighbors haven't complained and I try to stick to more noisy activities while they are at work. Regardless, can someone please share some recommendations/suggestions as what to do DIY in order to reduce the noise. I run the normal run of the mill compressors, grinding, etc and plan on plastic thermoforming machines by spring. Getting a small warehouse is still likely a year away. Putty
Maybe some type of cheap audio killing stuff. Like a foam or dynomat.

acklac7
http://www.acousticsblog.com/2012/soundproofing-small-loud-widgets/ Great read, bookmarked for the future. If you want to go the cheap route on foam you can use cheap mattress covers/liners from Walmart.
Troy2285
Insulation doubles as a sound barrier. Insulate the doors and walls if not already. Even the ceiling will help.
