coltboostin
Love to hear anything more about the perks associated with starting a line of credit at the place you're staying. We're headed to Vegas in a few weeks, staying at the Cosmopolitan which also houses the Marquee day and night clubs where I'd like to spend a good bit of my time. If starting a line of credit with them gets me perks on bottle / table service I'm absolutely in. My favorite DJ is playing there the evening we get there and the DJ's the next night I wouldn't mind seeing either. Obviously the Day club is probably going to suck this time of year considering it's usually pool related activities. Marquee is a great club-but for Vegas nightlife getting deals on bottle service is all about who you know. The Line of Credit just tells them you are ready to spend IMO. Fair enough...I'm not really a big Vegas guy so I'll probably have to pay to play but I'm not going on this trip to be a casual tourist...this is more of the "hair on fire, donuts in the middle of LV BLVD" type of trip The wifey has to have a place to sit in the club so bottle service is basically a must. Zx2guy19
I went there for a conference last year for work..first off, you will have incredible time unless you gamble away your house. I stayed at the Venecian, which to me was a complete waste of money, but that is where my work booked me. It was $200+ a night and was amazing, but you are never in your room. You can go to any casino you want, so you basically just pay that much money to say you stayed there. I also went and saw Chris Angel....another huge waste of money, but still a good time. The drinks that you get for free while gambling are just that, free drinks. You tip a $1-$2 at a time and you get decent drinks, but nothing high quality (who cares). I spent $300 of my own money the entire time I was there, and it was all on gambling/alcohol. As others have said, get a bus pass. Get a whole day pass each day. It pays for itself in just a few short trips. The strip is amazing at night, but keep in mind it is a few miles long each way. If you are drinking you don't want to be walking that beast. I also ate at a place called "Seredipities" (sp?). AMAZING food and it was pretty cheap, like $15 for a huge meal (yeah that is cheap there). I got the steak sub with egg on it...it was probably over 2 lbs+ fries. Give that a shot for sure! Have fun man.

If your are staying at the hotel-you can ask the concierge to put you in touch with a host-they will take care of you. What I would do going in as a first timer-go to HAZE (different club-same hotel) the day before. Find a host (they are all handing around the front dressed the same) and shoot the shit with him, get his card. Then, text him in the next day-get a referral to a host at Marquee (or they may host Marquee as well)- these guys make all of their money setting shit up-bringing people in. If you are THEIR referral from their "personal book", they will take care of you more than if the Hotel referred them (they are paid less on this). Also done be afraid to negotiate-ask for a certain table in a certain area-ask for Buy one get one bottles...ect. Ask like you have done this before! Good luck.
