People who are looking for Hayabusa's probably know what they're all about, but this is a man's bike. It's not a starter bike for an 18 year old, but that won't prevent a sale. I will NOT sell to anyone under 18 yrs old (non-negotiable). As is-once it's sold it's sold. First come, first with money, first buys it. I will only do cash if the transaction takes place at my bank (Bank of America) where a teller can verify that the bills are good and I can immediately deposit the cash., so Sundays are out for a transaction day. I will NOT do personal check. Will consider PayPal, but will add their fees to sale price. I have title in hand. Title is clear. Same day as paid for the buyer will drive it home.

I will take someone on a test drive, but will NOT allow them to drive it or take it out themselves without money in hand. Too much liability to risk.

I think about 12,200 miles. Had to charge the battery because it's only been run twice since I left Texas 2 months ago. I probably didn't even put 2000 miles on it since I bought it about May 2011.

Runs great. Yes it will do 185mph. Never tested it, but probably takes just 5-7 seconds to get to 100mph....quicker if you run high octane fuel. 1st gear should get you to about 70mph, 2nd to 110, 3rd 135, etc.

It has aftermarket paint. Greyish Silver with some sparkle shine to it.

Two Brother's exhaust system that I think is valued at $1800-2000. It has a low rumble sound to it. It sounds manly, not like a bumble bee.

Aftermarket rear footpegs $25 addition.

Aftermarket Muzzy metal cooling fan. $40 addition.

Rear seat ($75) & rear cowl. Cowl paint matches the bike.

Throttle Rocker ($12 addition)

I have 1 key.

I think I have 2 brand new oil filters. (probably $5-7 each)

The only bad part that I'm aware of is that it needs new tires (at least the rear) and new chain. I strongly recommend from my experience to be with Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's. Usually when changing the chain the rear sprocket gets changed out too because the torque makes it oblong shape. (Typical for sport bikes) Usual items at about 12,000 miles anyway. Also, there are small scrapes on the under side of the exhaust pipes where it looks like someone before me tipped it over, but I have no indication that it affected the bike at all.

It does not have nitrous or turbo.

I have a pink helmet that's only been worn like 5 times. It's a Drako size Large for sale. Asking $85.

I do know that Busa's hold their value very well and if you search for them there surprisingly is not a lot out there for sale like the 600's and 1000's. Those are out there like candy, but people tend to hold on to their Busa. This is my second Busa. I had an 06 that I bought brand new and sold it after just under 3 years with over 32,000 miles on it.
