FS Small Display Cabinet and free stuff updated

This is a red-ish cherry (maybe) wood display cabinet and it lights from the bottom. I used to keep my 1:18 cars in it. It measures about 36" long and about 14" deep. It does have a few scratches but is in good shape. Paid $125 for it at an estate sale about 10 years ago. Asking $50 or trade for ammo etc.

 

My dad gave me a railroad crossing sign and light that i'll give away for free. The light lights up but the sign does not. The crossing sign has reflectors and a few are missing or broken. These might be cool for a man cave.

Bump. The railroad stuff is gone. The display case cleans up and looks much better than the picture.

That crossing sign was worth at least $300-400, if not more in that condition.

Well... I didn't pay anything for it so I guess I won't worry about it. I gave the light and sign to Alex here on cr so he should ge glad to hear it.

 

My dad worked for NS for 30 years and it had about 20 years of dust on it. I guess I should have done more research. I just didn't want it going to the scrap yard. Thanks for the info. If I find anymore stuff ill keep that in mind.

I hate NS. Uppity scum! Dispatch always gave your trains the right of way when I worked for CSX, sometimes I had to wait hours for you guys to cross so we could finally go.

Hey man that's a great job. When I got laid off I applied for a few signal maintenance positions.. but so did a million other people (who had like 20 years experience)
