I will DEFINITELY be at the next C&C if that car is going to be there, Doc.

Always had a thing for the Testarossa.

First gear

Watch me go, keep 'em in fear

Rumble, young man rumble

Brother won't fumble, muthafukas just crumble

Gaskets crank, rappers get spanked

Stripes get yanked by superior rank

Won't stop the jock in some American car use a lyrical radar

But I'm rolling, the cartel's tolling

For the D's keep folding

Most Cadillac rappers get left in a stir

By the jet black blur

Mean, the Testarosa running like it suppose ta

Don't try to get closer

Cause you might get lost in the dual exhaust

Don't ever try to fuck wit' a boss

High octane there ain't no ping

When I swing I'm a lyrical speed king

And that's just first gear, listen for the upshift

Who can get wit' this

I'm your Testarossa...

Well the reason I asked if there were any Ferrari fanboys here in central Ohio was the same as when I asked in previous threads, e.g., the Lambo test drives and the Bentley reception at Eddie Merlot's.

I got an invitation to the unveiling of this new model and although I'm not in the market to buy it, I thought some true fans might want to see it, get in it, talk to the factory guys about it, score some literature, and hobnob with some prospective buyers.

I've got four takers on my offer already. (It's invitation-only, and I can't swing more than four guests on my invitation.) If you want to be on a backup list, post to the thread, and if someone has to drop out, I'll give you a heads-up.

Here's a brief "first drive" video: (

We'll post photos to this thread after the event.

The beast in person:

The dealer said that this is the only car out in the public right now. It's the same car that was in the Detroit Auto Show. It's a European spec car, and no U.S. cars have yet been built. MAG has been allotted two, but has 18 paid deposits. Price is north of 300 large.

We all agreed the car looked better in person than in photos, especially the rear

Not many people have gotten this close to the car, let alone sat behind the wheel

But of course 3 CR guys joined that exclusive club :)

We browsed the other Ferrari's and Mazz's, then looked at BMW, Bentley, Aston, Lambo.

This used Ferrari was only $303,000 (balance of factory warranty included) :lolguy:

I think we all had a good time. Thanks for going along, fellas.

Was awesome to have the opportunity to go, and to meet more CR people! The Bentley is amazing as well, Doc, surprised me how fast it was for being 3 tons! F12 is beautiful in person, it's a lot like the 458 in that pictures do it no justice, Pininfarina got the design just right, and even all of the vents from the front fenders to the rear quarter panels look good in the overall design. %5Bimg%5Dhttp%3A//http://www.flickr.com/photos/brendanberg1/8469752932/in/photostream%5Bimg%5D

Thanks, Mike, but all I did was take some CR fans to an invitation-only showing. I'm not in the market for a car like this, couldn't afford to buy it, couldn't afford to insure it, and couldn't drive it well enough to justify having it.

But I can still appreciate what a fine car it is. ;)

It looked killer in person. I love the hood vent on the side of the hood. I know crapy pics, but just thought I would add to this.
