Forrest Gump 9
I've always like the way the Jeep SRT8 looks. SO I just bought a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (diesel) and I want to convert it to look like the SRT8 look. What do I need? Wheels Front bumber rear bumber ? ? PRD2BDF
Isn't it lower than a regular one?
BrendanB
Differences are suspension/ride height, the exhaust exits in the middle of the rear bumper, hence no towing ability, the front and rear bumpers are different, wheels are different, etc.
Forrest Gump 9
an SRT8 jeep Yeah, believe it or not, the diesel is about the same price as the SRT8 :fuuuu: But I'm just have to get my diesel bug out of my system.

Rocky31186
A lot of people have done wk swaps. Although it does get pricey. Your on the right track with bumpers, wheels. Don't forget side skirts. I think the grill is different. You can still run a hitch in the back. But it looks stupid, and towing capacity isn't much over 3k I think. You can buy used SRT springs for cheap, and lower it to SRT height. Brake calipers and rotors are a big chunk of change.
Mallard
they made a diesel version? Yup. And they were pretty nice too (M-B 3.0L Turbo). They would get almost 30 on the highway, but they changed the rear end gear for the US so it runs higher RPM's on the freeway resulting on only low 20 mpg's. Do everything rocky said it it will look like an SRT from the outside (the shocks and sway bars were different too). But they also had different seats and steering wheel.
