Cheap steel wheels?

With the lowered I-beams I'm putting on Cleetus, I'd like to look into a new set of wheels and tires. I'd like to keep an old-school street rod look to it, so I was thinking of Sprint or Bassett wheels. 15" or 16" diameter, with a staggered 235/265 tire combo.

Worst case scenario...I could get basic steel wheels and paint them white.

Any ideas where I can get steelies for cheap?

I really wanted white wheels, to match the red/white paint scheme.

Another thing I was thinking of was a set of Moons. :)

Easy, simple, clean look for not a lotta dough and piece-o-cake update!

I LOVE the Centerline California Smoothie. Unfortunately, a 20" pair likely cost more than your truck.

If it's the rims which give that car it's ability to drive on the ceiling, BUY THEM!

I wasn't necessarily saying black, I just like that idea of the simple wheel design on a vehicle like yours. It really is a shame they don't offer some of their simple rims in many different colors.

I don't remember what the current rims look like, but why not clean up and paint the current rims white?

They are the stocker 15x6 steel wheels in white that had silver (seriously corroded) "dog dish" caps that I spray-painted white. Sanding/painting the steelies white again was the original plan. I may try to get wider rear steelies with fatter meats (it does a mean pegleg burnout at pretty much every stoplight, especially in the winter) which would also get painted white.

I'm convinced that keeping white steelies all around is the way to go, otherwise I may do Moons as a custom look.
