Looking for a cabin of B&B for a getaway. Due to schedules I only need a one night stay and most require a 2 night stay. Anyone have experience with these? Also any in the $100 range rather than the 150-200 a night range? Anyone got a little well kept secret google has not clued me into?

I had a very poor experience with B&B in PA. I told my wife from now on I would rather stay at a hotel and get a continental breakfast.

What are are you looking?

Implying every bed and breakfast in PA is going to be the same...

It's a little more of a drive, but Asheville, NC has a Days Inn by the mall that has the best free hotel breakfast I've ever had, and I've stayed at a shit ton of hotels. I'd assume it would be a cheaper alternative to a B&B and the breakfast is probably better. There is also a lot of free/cheap stuff to do in the area. Worth the couple extra hours of a drive in my opinion.

Stayed at this one on Valentines Day. I HIGHLY recommend it as the staff stays at their house and not at the manner and you have the house to yourself providing nobody else is staying.

Great price, VERY clean, full of historical artifacts, and a great view. You get to use the kitchen fully. Dishes can just be left in the sink. The breakfast is awesome.

Also, at the top of that page in giant red letters you'll see they accept one night stays. :)

I just drove by that place when we were leaving our cabin last weekend. We stayed two nights here:

Not sure if they have anything in the $100 range or not but our cabin was very nice and super secluded.

You weren't too awful far away from my cabin then. :)

Love it down here.

My friends got married there a few years back, rented out the whole house. What a great place. In one of the rooms under a carpet we found the hidden cellar.

Yeah, there's some cool history there. I wish we had more time. I'll be going back more than likely.

Jesse Thanks I found some to call and check out

NP, we love VRBO. We don't always find places but we often do and we always use it as a tool to find places to stay on vacation. I like the idea of renting from an individual or small business owner and getting a cabin/condo type place a lot more than a hotel room in a big building owned by a chain. Don't get me wrong, hotels have their place but when I'm traveling for pleasure I don't prefer to stay in them.

Why only 1 night, cost? I really like doing the 2 night thing Friday-Sunday because you have the whole day Saturday to do whatever you want.

Stayed in the #1 cabin multiple times. Best bang for buck down there that we found. Good and easy people to work with and close enough to the attractions but secluded enough to get freak nasty in the sheets............im sure they washed them since we was last there................dunno about the hot tub though. haha
