99BlownYellowGT
A few years back when me and my wife left a property up in polaris there was a bill charged to us for some bs charges. Well to make a long story short I worked out a deal with a law firm representing them to release me from all charges. I kept all the paperwork because i had a feeling it wouldnt be over. Well i was contacted by a collection agency last year trying to get me to pay this bill again. I told them i had settled and i did not want to be contacted again. Today a new bill from another agency shows up to my wife. Is there anything i can do to end this once and for all?
Slimpsy1647545505
If it's bouncing around different collection agencies (they often sell debts to one another)...really the only solution is to pay it, or dispute it through the credit bureaus if it's on your report already. 99BlownYellowGT
Why would i pay something that i settled with their law firm releasing me of all charges owing them nothing?
Tractor
If you got papers proving it then forward them copies if you care. If its not on your credit report anyway then who cares.
