Car seems twitches in the turns. there's still no official word on what happened but it looks very much like driver error. The track was lightly wet from some rain and it looks like his loaded tire was on that blue part of the track so maybe he just lost grip..... Track was still pretty wet, causing the squirminess likely Oliver Gavin (the driver of the onboard Vette from the video I posted) said that the AF Corse Ferrari spun (you can see Gavin go by that spun ferrari at 00:15)and that may have distracted Simmonsen during that corner... News came in also that driver Wolf Sylvester died at the Nurburgring while racing a VLN event also on Saturday. He had a heart attack while driving... I'm not one for superstition but Saturday was Dan Wheldon's birthday.......
