The nova dipped.....

Recommended Posts

My buddy Dan owns dipped whips and approached me about dipping my nova for an upcoming car show to place at his tent.

I was kind of on the fence about it but did want to see my car a different color... and in the end I was impressed with this stuff and really like the matte black look on the car. Best of all it can be peeled off and back to the old.

The stuff is super durable and the finish is pretty bad ass

here are a couple pics

its from my cell phone so it looks better in person, some people are plasti dip haters and thats cool its not for everyone.

Yeah... the hood will never match, personally Im a big fan of the gloss black hood and the car a different color. Its not permanent, just something for the car show and for his business. I do like it and my car was a 15 footer to begin unless you were looking at the immaculate engine setup.

I might be in the minority, but I preferred it being red.

it will only have the dip for a month or two then it will go back to red most likely... Im still saving my pennies to get the body work done and have it actually painted

no the jambs are still red.If you want to spend the time and money then jambs could be done. but with this setup it will just all peel off in big sheets and will be back to the old red in less than an hour of clean up when I want to put it back
