Clay, it seems that the M3 shift lever will shorten the throw in the 318 by 33%. If you are going to do it, replace the bushings in the linkage at the same time. okami Posted July 13, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 13, 2013 RymerC, I did a little bit of sway bar research online. The M3 rear bar is stiffer and mounts the same way. The M3 front bar is actually smaller, but is stiffer due to mounting directly to the shock instead of to the control arm. If your struts have the mounting bracket on them for the sway bar, then you can benefit from the M3 bar.
