Looking good bro. Hope to see it soon.

I keep tellin Adam the car looks pretty dang good, its not totally perfect, but its come along way in the last few months in my opinion. I dont think the car looks that bad from the outside, like Adam kinda does. I think it looks good, and it runs better than it looks. :) Started up on the FIRST TRY, good idle, no oil/fuel/coolant/vacum/air/or ehaust leaks either. Eighy psi oil pressure at cold idle, sounds good to me...lol.

Hatch area still needs a dummy floor w/some black carpet on it, and a HALOTRON fire extinguisher. And.......

Thanks, Aaron! I'll probably be out next weekend in it.

Jones, that whole fiasco should be sorted out now. My biggest dilemma now is waiting for Shine Auto Project to make me a damn hood.

Yes, the car absolutely runs better than it looks. That will be taken care of by next year though. A new hood, side steps, coilovers, and a second set of wheels will be in the works soon.

I did 95 percent of the engine and engine blasting and painting, Kevin pretty much did the rest of the car, and Lee Howie worked some magic into the new turbo. Logan will be tuning it next year also.

Vented hood?

Yes, I am getting the ShineAuto Feed replica hood. It currently has a "vented hood" thanks to the previous owner getting a bit too carried away with an angle grinder. I refuse to post pics of that bastardization :dumb: It's the first thing on the list to go.

That had to be the smallest 95% ever, lol....No, Adam did a pretty good job painting the engine bay, I didnt have to do a whole lot to it. Touch up and cleaning mainly (inner fenders/firewall). However, as I recall Adam, you were BLOWN AWAY, first time you seen them inners/firewall cleaned up????? Remember the VIN NO.....???

Adam has been a great customer, he has done his part every step of the way, I couldnt complain thats for sure. We have become good friends now and thats good stuff in my book.

Thank you Adam for everything.

I'm certainly not the one who should be thanked. However, you're welcome. Thank you for bringing the ol' Mazda back to life.

Rotaries do weird things to your head..

Truth.

Kevin, damn fine job, Adam kelt telling me about all the work you've put in this car but to finally see it in the pics.........damn!!

I was there for its maiden voyage. That car sounds like a jet engine when it spools, lots of feelings going to get hurt soon, glad to see it being taken care of and done right.
