Forrest Gump 9
Just wondering if the Hummer H2 would be a worthy vehicle? Are there any area need to be watch out for? My co-worker just wrecked his Porsche Cayene. The insurance company just called and said its a total loss. He always like the hummer H2 so now it's his chance to get one. Cordell
It's basically just a fullsize Chevy truck that looks like a brick.
Shawn89
I say if he likes them get one. There a gas hog and going from a Porsche to a wannabe hummer will be a huge letdown though.
TurboRust
seriously tho i just had one in the shop monday, customer said it has been dead reliable but avg about 12mpg(this was a 65 year old man) and the 315-70-17 set of tires we were putting on it(factory bfg a/t ko) were $1400 oh and his leather seats were hella comfy after 115k miles Edited October 3, 2013 by TurboRust
Not Brian
Your co-worker is an idiot. Tell him I said that.
SHIEF
Mom has one. Its been very reliable. So far just exhaust manifold fix and like derek said tires are pricy. Other than the tire price I like it/them. And I just found out that I'm an idiot
Not Brian
And I just found out that I'm an idiot You are, you let me steal that 200sx from you. I'm also an idiot because I sold it
vonrottes
Why not just make the leap and go for a real Hummer? You know the ones with a 6.2-6.6L diesel engine. I mean someone coming from a porche probably would still want to maintain the "status" image.... something a H2 DOES NOT have... it's like a rich soccer mom SUV. I Honestly don't see why anyone would want a H2 or H3 though.

Lauren
I had one in 2009 for a year as a daily. I spent about 800 a month in gas. Exhaust manifold cracks and sounds like a machine gun but it's an easy fix. You really feel like king of te road driving one. I miss mine but dont think I would ever own one again. Farkas
I honestly can't understand why people buy them.
ICEMAN1647545504
I honestly can't understand why people buy them. They drive very well on the freeway and long trips, tow good, reliable, and safe. Look like shit, I agree, gas milleage is turrbull, but there is a lot of positives to them. PRD2BDF
Only reason Farka doesn't like them is that it isn't low enough and on stretched tires

El Karacho1647545492
SRT8 Jeep GC. This. H2 is just a GM truck that they decided to limit the visibility on.
Forrest Gump 9
It's basically just a fullsize Chevy truck that looks like a brick. That's what I thought. As far as look go, it's all subjective. I like the way the H2 look better than the TBSS. If it was me, I'll get a ML63 AMG or a SRT8. Lauren
its not just a basic full size truck. it is made up with its own parts. its a pretty big misconception that it is just a full sized truck. do some reading on it.

BrendanB
Neighbor has had one from new and loves it. Uses it for their boat trailer and miscellaneous things now, and with over 140k it's still running strong.
