Protection Posted October 10, 2013 Report Share Posted October 10, 2013 ENIGINE HAS A 6TH CYLINDER ISSUE (MISFIRE) VERY LITTLE COMPRESSION. I THINK THE MECHANIC SAID 25 PSI OR LESS. CRACKED PISTON, RING OR MAYBE SOMETHING IN THE HEAD (VALVES, VALVE SEALS) THE ENGINE IS STILL IN MY CAR AND RUNS. SMOKES AND MISFIRES. THE LS4 HAS 243 CASTING HEADS, 28.33 LB AN HOUR INJECTORS, FUEL RAIL, INTAKE MANIFOLD, AND THROTTLE BODY. I MIGHT THROW IN THE COIL PACKS ALSO. THE 243 HEADS ARE WORTH 300 ALONE SO THE REST OF THE MOTOR IS KIND OF A GIMME. ENGINE IS DUE FOR A REBUILD OBVIOUSLY. THE MOTOR WILL BE OUT SOON TO REPLACE IT WITH THE NEW ONE I PURCHASED. 614-397-7396 CALL OR TEXT. IM PRETTY CLOSE OF THE PRICE.
