RC K9
Alright, so I finally got my new DSM to a point where I am happy mechanically, (for now anyway), so this weekend I moved onto appearance. The car is a 1991 GSX Auto, about 83,000mi, original paint. I spent the whole weekend washing, clay barring, polishing, and waxing. This was the final result. My wife took the pics. The only photoshopping done was for contrast, and some special effects which you will notice regarding the surroundings, but as for the car, what you see is what it really is. It's not perfect, a few dings and such, but if you were to see this car in a parking lot, this is what it would look like. Constructive criticism is welcome. Enjoy. http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/DSM/1991%20GSX/IMG_7193_zps2260a18e.jpg http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/DSM/1991%20GSX/IMG_7189_FX_zps024b3897.jpg http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/DSM/1991%20GSX/IMG_7162_bw_zps9123b461.jpg http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/DSM/1991%20GSX/IMG_7156_zps13233426.jpg http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/DSM/1991%20GSX/IMG_7153_zps61382fa1.jpg http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/DSM/1991%20GSX/IMG_7154_zpsb36a0523.jpg http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/DSM/1991%20GSX/IMG_7151_zps9a4c73f9.jpg http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/DSM/1991%20GSX/IMG_7148_zpse3c28f30.jpg http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/DSM/1991%20GSX/IMG_7144_zps40188d2c.jpg http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/DSM/1991%20GSX/IMG_7142_bw_zpsb03d464d.jpg http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/DSM/1991%20GSX/IMG_7143_FX_zpsec8fb15d.jpg http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/DSM/1991%20GSX/IMG_7136_zps0db31251.jpg

Fubar231
Anything done to the auto? Built? Big stall? I love 1g Auto DSM's when they have a big stall and a good sized turbo, they get down, especially on the street where traction is limited. Also did you just yank all the stuff off your old wrecked one and put it onto this one? What all have you done to this one, or how was it when you purchased it? Also did you just yank all the stuff off your old wrecked one and put it onto this one? What all have you done to this one, or how was it when you purchased it? Stock auto trans, stock restalled converter, nothing insane. A lot of the stuff from my old car went on this car, but there is some new/upgraded stuff. Better suspension, better braking system, bigger intercooler setup, new tires. The car was mildly built with bolt-ons on a stock motor when I bought it. Just some bigger cams, B16g turbo, tubular header, GM MAF, FMIC. I ripped all that ish out and put my own stuff in. I pretty much tore the car down and built it back the way I wanted it. Looks good Lose the front plate. Why the front and rear Talon badges? I would love to lose the plate, but TX doesn't mess around with that crap. They take it seriously and would rather just suck it up and leave it on than get pulled over and get ticketed every weekend. As for the Talon Badges, I have owned 4 talons, and this is my first Eclipse, so I wanted to carry that on from my old cars onto this one, and I hate the stock front Mitsu center piece. looks good, remove the Dennis automall crap though! I usually remove dealership crap, but it's a nice reminder of home, so I left it there for nostalgic purposes. It may come off eventually, just not yet. RC K9
Pfffft Texas Keep talking smack Patterson...when I move back to OH, that POS scummit better be ready for a @$$ whoopin. Hmm. Not feeling those as well. Didn't they have the option of having cross laces? There was a ton of different stock options for the 10yrs or so these were produced. The only cross lace type rim I can think of I believe came on the lasers.
RC K9
16G Auto DSM Yeehaw Did I just get transported back to 1999? 16G on the auto is fun, but falls off way to early. Light to light its good times, 40 roll, forget about it. I miss the peppiness of the 16g on e85 with 1550 injectors, but am addicted to the power of what I have on now. Only way to really get the best of both worlds would be compounding...which may or may not be in the future...

Mr. Jones
Can't believe you have a 16G Auto... Maybe if you had a giant snail and it was a 1/4 mile car only. I still think that is the sweet spot, 16G, fueling, fmic, 5 speed for a street driven DSM.
RC K9
X2 on losing Dennis Automall BS. Do the wheels have any centercaps? Yes, there are center caps on the wheels. They came in gold, I didn't like, so I painted them black. Can't believe you have a 16G Auto... Maybe if you had a giant snail and it was a 1/4 mile car only. I don't have a 16g auto. I have had a 16g on it before, but went back to a 3065. Everyone here does roll races. I do have an E3 16G on the shelf just in case it is ever needed though.
