Protection
New motor in my 06 Grand Prix Gxp but first startup my abs traction and stability lights come on. They weren't on before the swap. I'm assuming everything is plugged in but what else could it be?
Rocky31186
Sounds like something is unplugged? Looks over all your plug in's, we wont have the magic answer. Did you pull axles for transmission? Maybe the wheel bearings are not plugged in down there
Protection
Dropped the cradle to get her out
Rocky31186
Other option is to scan it and find out if its a specific sensor not reading or if its the main unit.
Cordell
The codes should point you in teh right direction, but I bet a wire got pinched.
cstmg8
Did you by any chance mess with the steering wheel harness? Bad signal from the clock spring will throw the stability lights also. Sounds like a plug that got missed though.
Protection
Yep. I'm thinking the plug route too. Sigh. Or pinched.

Browning
ha missed that part. Sorry
Cordell
I'd bet that the wire is broken inside the insulation going to that wheel. Fairly common issue with w-bodies. Pull the harness out of the plastic sheath and tug on the wire until it pulls apart, splice it there. Or if you want to do a better job of fixing it once you've confirmed its the wiring you can get the whole speed sensor harness. iirc its around a $100. Rocky31186
I would hook a volt meter to the plug in and see what its putting out compared to the other side. If you find an issue move to the inside of the wheel well and check again. That should tell you which direction to go.
