The company announced a year or so ago that we are going to release a TypeR Civic with one of these engines. Without saying too much, they should be reasonably fun cars, if we get them... The company announced a year or so ago that we are going to release a TypeR Civic with one of these engines. Without saying too much, they should be reasonably fun cars, if we get them... Only problem is it's a FWD platform and will likely cost more $$$ than the last Civic Si Mugen which was a joke @ $30k! The boy racers that want the cars don't make enough money to buy and insure them...so it's already a FAIL and it's not even released! FRS/BRZ are out for 25k while later model used s2ks are pulling more than that. Would have to be FAR better than the competition to be worth it. A new "2014 Safety Standard, Emissions Standard, Crash Tested" Turbo RWD Coupe would easily be high 30's to low 40's.
