Drewhop
The rear measurement from inside rear fender on each side is 78 inches Trying to find a front and rear suspension that will fit a nice fat lip wheel. It looks like the Crown Vic 98 is 62.5 inches from hub to hub. Which if I am figuring right with brake would only allow a 7 inch wide wheel. Is there a place to find hub to hub dimensions on a large variety of IFS and rear ends.

LS_Sonoma
This doesn't answer your question specifically but it's pretty slick build and similar. http://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-hybrids/1687002-hacksters-68-f100-lq4-s475-4l80e.html
Drewhop
your not interested in installing a mustang ll front suspension setup? theres a ton of options and can almost tailor it to your needs Trying to stick within a certain budget. Those mustang II suspensions can get pricey. I have access to a salvage yard that I can pretty much pick suspensions and pay scrap price for common suspensions.
