hey guys, im not real knowledgeable on house wiring so i was hoping you guys can help me out real quick. i tried to wire a switch exactly how the old switch was wired, but apparently the old switch is different on the inside and with the new switch wired the same way, it was just popping the breaker.

i have a light switch with an indicator light to power an electric motor. ill post pics of the switch, could one of you guys please tell me where the white and black wires go from the outlet and from the electric motor and where to put the jumper wire so that the red light comes on when its in use.

Looks to me like the power coming in from receptacle will obviously be the line side. White landing where the indicator light is and the black right below. The load side would be going to your motor and just jumper the two on the other side of switch. I'm drunk but that what I see. The only reason a neutral is landing on that switch is because of the indicator light.
